Alma Barcelona Hotel was the second hotel in Barcelona that we stayed. It is a small boutique hotel that is located on the shopping street, Passeig de Gràcia near Plaça de Catalunya.

What mesmerized us the most about Alma Barcelona Hotel was (a) its very convenient location and (b) amazing service. It is located in the main city area that is close to Casa Mila and Casa Battlo by Gaudi. It is very close to Gràcia street which has all the luxury brands for shopping. In addition, its service was exquisite. They welcome you with a nice pot of tea and offered us a bottle of champagne since it was our honeymoon. Everything in the fridge is complimentary. It offers finger print room key so you do not have to worry about not bringing your key. People at Alma were very nice and helpful. However, since it is a pretty small hotel, its amenity such as swimming pool and gym is also very small. Moreover, there were few weird things about the room. For instance, there isn’t a bathroom door. Although there is a wall between the room and the bathroom, you cannot fully close the door when you take shower. I am not sure if I will be comfortable with this when I come with my friends.
