As you may already know, Hong Kong is known for its dimsum brunch and afternoon tea. Many prestigious hotels in Hong Kong have an unique and exquisite afternoon tea set. This time, I decided to check out the Ritz- Carlton for its French Afternoon Tea. The Ritz- Carlton hotel in Hong Kong, the world’s highest hotel, is located on top of International Commerce Center (ICC) and therefore offers one of the best panoramic view of Hong Kong city. It was too cloudy when I visited but it was still nice to seat right next to the floor to ceiling window and enjoy Victoria Harbour view with a cup of warm tea.

I asked to see the tea leaves. The Ritz- Carlton Hong Kong uses TWG tea for its afternoon tea.
Imperial Oolong (left)
A well- balanced and flavorful semi-fermented with a sweet and fruity savour and divine, lingering aftertaste.
& Lemon Bush Tea (right)
Red tea from South Africa blended with wild citrus fruits. Refreshing, this theine-free tea can be served warm or ice at any time of the day
Because I love dark roasted oolong, I wanted to try its Imperial Oolong. It was unique in flavor since it is more fruity and flowery but I always prefer non blended Oolong from China such as Shi Xian or Rou Gui. Lemon Brush Tea was highly recommended by the server. I think they use Rois Bois from South Africa. Although I don’t drink lots of blended tea, i thought Lemon Brush cold brew will be nice during the hot summer season. I thought both can be a good gift for anyone
Always adore lemon color of TWG tin cans. Their seasonal packages are always so pretty
