I want to share my very first video about “how to turn an unripe watermelon into a really nice summer juice in a minute!”
I wanted to share this video much earlier, so you can enjoy this refreshing drink for all summer! However, it took me forever to edit video since there are lots to learn (I got to really appreciate movie directors or youtubers!). Still much to improve but hopefully I can share more interesting videos about my recipe/ teacipe in the future with you guy.
Anyway, I am pretty sure that we all had an experience of buying an unripe watermelon or only partially ripe one. Bad Bad Bad!
There is nothing more disappointing than having an unripe watermelon after all the efforts you put in picking the right one (it involves lots of lifting and tapping) and bringing it all the way to home.
I don’t like to wast any food.
What I do with unripe watermelon is, I dice and freeze them to make a really nice summer drink.
It is so easy to make.
Ingredients : 1C frozen watermelon + 1.5C of Oolong Cold Brew + 2t spoon of Oolong tea syrup* or honey.
Just put everything in the blender and mix it until well blended!
You can add less or more water depending on your preference.
*Tea syrup: I will make another recipe video how to make amazing tea syrup in the future. It adds more flavor in your drink.
Another great way to enjoy summer with watermelon and oolong cold brew!
